Dr. Mannan Gupta consults on abortion and medical termination of pregnancy (MTP), with a gynaecology-based assessment of each patient. Recommendations are based on each patient's history, examination, pregnancy duration and the legal and clinical requirements that apply, as described on the MTP page.
Qualifications and registration
Patients are entitled to verify any doctor's qualifications. In India, registered medical practitioners are listed on the National Medical Register. Please ask the clinic for the registration number and qualifications when you book or attend, and check them independently if you wish.

- How many of these procedures do you perform, and in which setting?
- What are the alternatives, and the risks of each?
- What happens if there is a complication, and who will manage it?
- What is the full cost, and what does it cover?
